End of Summer Activities

Attention TCES Students! 

The PTA Reflections theme for 2018-19 has been announced!  This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me.” As you take time to relax and spend time with your family this summer, begin thinking about what that theme will inspire you to create.  Maybe an original song, a dance, or even an original film.  Unleash your creativity to celebrate the heroes in our lives!  More detailed information will be sent out at the start of the school year.  Parents- if anyone is interested in being a part of a small committee to plan the Reflections contest for the upcoming school year, please email Jen Maddux (jamaddux@me.com) for more information!

Silent Auction Donations

Is your business willing to donate a service or product to support our school? The PTA will host its biggest fundraiser of the year on Friday, November 30 and offer an exciting assortment of items at its silent auction.  All proceeds will go towards the purchase of learning software and other educational items for our students.  Please contact Sheila Stells at sheila.stells@gmail.com if you can help.  Thank you in advance for your support! 

Extreme Lounge Makeover!

Our summer redecoration project to welcome our teachers back in the fall is well underway! Special thanks to all of the families who have pitched in to paint and help.  If you have any tall lamps you would like donate,  please contact Sandra Tartal at Sandra.tartal@gmail.com or Kristen Vithoulkas at vithpk@gmail.com.

The Box Tops Summer Challenge is on!!boxtops

The PTA is sponsoring a Summer Box Tops Challenge and would like to see how many box tops you can clip before the 2018-2019 school year. The winning class will celebrate with a donut party upon returning to school. All students who return the 50 box tops collection sheet (or 50 bundled in a ziploc bag) will receive special recognition and a chance to win a special prize! All collection sheets or ziploc bags must be returned by Friday, September 7th. Please include student name and teacher name when turning in Box Tops.

Thurs., Nov. 8 – Movie Night & Parent Workshops, 6 pm (Board Meeting at 5 pm)

Fri., Nov. 30 – Winter Dance & Silent Auction, 6-8 pm

Wed., Dec. 12 – Teacher Holiday Luncheon (Parent Coverage Needed)

Wed., Dec. 19 – Holiday Parties (Organized by Room Parent), 1-2 pm
